About This Tour
Wadi Rum is unlike anywhere else on Earth — a protected desert of towering sandstone mountains, red dunes and silence so complete you can hear your own heartbeat. On this private full-day experience we drive you from your hotel to the Wadi Rum Visitor Centre, where your Bedouin driver and 4x4 jeep are waiting. The safari route covers the valley's greatest landmarks: Lawrence Spring, the red sand dunes, Khazali Canyon with its ancient Thamudic inscriptions, the Little Bridge rock arch, and the sweeping viewpoints where Lawrence of Arabia and The Martian were filmed.
Along the way you'll stop at a Bedouin tent for sweet sage tea, try an optional camel ride across the open desert, and enjoy a traditional lunch cooked over fire. As the afternoon light softens, we position you at one of the best sunset spots in the protected area — watching the sandstone cliffs turn from orange to deep crimson is a memory that stays with every guest. After sunset we drive you back to your hotel in Aqaba, Petra or Amman. Prefer to sleep under the stars? Ask us about upgrading to an overnight desert camp.

The standard safari is 4–5 hours inside the protected area, covering all major sites. Because the tour is private, we can extend or shorten it — some guests prefer a slower pace with longer stops for photography.
