Best of Jordan 3-Day Tour
About This Tour
If you have three days in Jordan, this is the itinerary we recommend to almost everyone. Day one explores the north: the remarkably preserved Roman city of Jerash — colonnaded streets, temples and theatres often called the Pompeii of the East — followed by Amman's Citadel, Roman Theatre and the downtown souks, ending with dinner on Rainbow Street. Day two heads south along the ancient King's Highway to Petra for a full day inside the Rose-Red City with your licensed guide: the Siq, the Treasury, the Royal Tombs, and time for the Monastery climb.
In the evening we continue to Wadi Rum, where a Bedouin camp, zarb dinner and a sky full of stars await. Day three opens with sunrise over the desert and a 4x4 jeep safari through Lawrence Spring, Khazali Canyon and the red dunes. On the drive back north we stop at the Dead Sea for a float at the lowest point on Earth — the perfect finale before drop-off at your Amman hotel or the airport. Two nights of accommodation, all entrance fees, transport and guiding are included; the exact hotel and camp category is tailored to your budget.
