Dead Sea + Pink Pools + Salt Beach Tour
About This Tour
The Dead Sea most travelers see is only half the story. Along its southern shores, evaporation ponds and mineral deposits have created two of Jordan's most photogenic natural wonders: the Pink Pools, where high salinity and algae turn the water shades of rose and magenta, and the Salt Beach, where the shoreline is crusted in brilliant white crystal formations that look like snow under the desert sun. This private day tour takes you to both — places most group tours skip entirely — with time to wander, photograph and simply stare.
The day starts with hotel pickup in Amman and a scenic descent to 430 meters below sea level, the lowest point on Earth. After exploring the Pink Pools and crunching across the crystal Salt Beach, we head to a private beach resort where lunch is included and you can float effortlessly in water nearly ten times saltier than the ocean, then cover yourself in the famous mineral-rich black mud. Showers, pools, towels and changing rooms are all on hand. Bring a swimsuit, water shoes and a camera with plenty of storage — this is the most Instagrammed day trip we run.
