About This Adventure

Wadi Rum on a quad is a completely different animal from Wadi Rum on foot or in a jeep. You cover ground fast, you feel the terrain under the wheels in real time, and there is something deeply satisfying about sliding a quad sideways on a soft dune and absolutely nobody judging you for it.

Routes wind between towering sandstone mountains, through soft red dune fields, and across the flat packed sand of ancient dried riverbeds. Guides lead small groups so you are not just following Google Maps into a dead end, and the pace is set to the group's comfort level.

Beginners get a 10-minute briefing and practice lap before heading out. No prior experience needed, though you should be comfortable steering a bicycle and not actively afraid of going a bit sideways.

Weather Warning

Extreme summer heat — air temperatures reach 45°C+ and the sand surface can exceed 70°C; heat stroke risk is real and rapid above 38°C. Spring sandstorms (March–April) can reduce visibility to metres in minutes — operators should cancel automatically but always check. Dehydration hits fast in dry desert air: drink 500 ml before you even start.
