About This Adventure

Bungee jumping requires the kind of courage that has no practical application in daily life whatsoever — you stand at the edge, you know intellectually that the cord will catch you, and your brain refuses to agree. This gap between knowing and believing is the entire point of bungee jumping, and about 200 m of freefall resolves it conclusively.

Aqaba operations typically use a crane platform or bridge structure above the water, providing a coastal backdrop and the option of a water touchdown for the truly committed. The cord is checked, the operator is certified, and you will be asked to sign a form acknowledging that the thing you are about to do is voluntary.

The jump itself takes approximately 3–4 seconds. The rebound phase continues for 30–60 seconds. Recovery time varies considerably by personality.

WEATHER CRITICAL — operations are cancelled when wind exceeds 18 knots; wind at height is unpredictable and affects trajectory. Medical restrictions apply: heart conditions, back injuries, recent surgery, pregnancy, and epilepsy are all contraindications. Maximum weight limits apply (typically 100–110 kg). The psychological stress of standing at the edge is significant and real; some people find they cannot proceed — this is completely normal and operators will not pressure you.
