About This Adventure

Jordan's eastern desert is a vast basalt plateau stretching toward the Iraqi and Saudi borders — sparsely populated, spectacularly flat, dotted with black volcanic rock and ancient Roman and Byzantine ruins that appear without warning. On a trail bike, with no traffic and no noise except engine and wind, it is extraordinary.

Enduro tours run by Jordanian operators typically include a mix of terrain: paved desert highway, rough stone tracks between Bedouin settlements, open sand sections in Wadi Rum, and ridge-line routes with views across the valley. Experienced riders can cover 200–400 km in a day; shorter tours focus on Wadi Rum terrain for 3–4 hours.

Multi-day tours include camp accommodation in Wadi Rum or Bedouin hospitality in eastern desert communities — an experience that connects the adventure to the landscape and people in a way that day-tours cannot.
