About This Adventure

Skydive Jordan operates from an airfield near Amman, offering tandem jumps from 4,000 m that take you over landscapes that include the Dead Sea (the lowest point on earth), the Jordan Valley, and on clear days, the hills of Jerusalem. It is a genuinely unusual backdrop for the standard "I can't believe I did that" debrief.

Tandem jumps require no prior experience — you are strapped to a certified instructor who manages the whole jump. Ground training takes 30–60 minutes and covers body position, deployment signals, and how to land without face-planting. Then you get on a very small plane and think about your life choices.

Freefall lasts approximately 60 seconds from 4,000 m, reaching terminal velocity around 200 km/h, before canopy deployment brings you into a 5–7 minute glide to the drop zone.

⚠️ Critical Weather Warning

WEATHER CRITICAL — jumps are cancelled if wind exceeds 18 knots at altitude or if cloud cover blocks safe exit height. Not suitable for heart conditions, recent surgeries, back problems, or anyone with a doctor's restriction on physical exertion. Minimum age typically 18; maximum weight around 100 kg. Extreme psychological stress is normal and expected.
